Visitors are welcome to attend two meetings free of cost before considering membership.

When you submit your membership form, please let us know if MKAS can claim Gift Aid on your subscription or any donations, as we are a registered charity. This is a vital source of funding for the society.
Donating through Gift Aid means MKAS can claim an extra 25p for every £1 you give. It will not cost you any extra.
Your donations qualify as long as they are not more than 4 times what you have paid in tax in that tax year (6 April to 5 April). The tax could have been paid on income or capital gains. You can even include all qualifying donations from the last 4 years. You must notify us if you stop paying enough tax.
If you pay tax above the basic rate, you can claim the difference between the rate you pay and the basic rate on your donation. This means you can save money while helping the society!
Example:
You donate £100 to MKAS. They claim Gift Aid to make your donation £125.
If you pay 40% tax, you can personally claim back £25.00 (£125 x 20%) from HMRC.

Once MKAS receives your membership form, it will be subject to approval by the committee.
Once approved, you will be sent an Invoice to the email address provided in the form. The Invoice will contain MKAS bank details for online bank transfer.
**Important:** Kindly utilize the Invoice number provided in the invoice sent to you as the reference for online payment; failure to do so will result in your membership being invalid.
